*Catherine Coburn(1) (b.4/3/1859, d.20/11/1936 ) (God parents James Coburn and Ann McGeough(2)) (Parents John Coburn and Rose Lennon) married *Arthur McShane, (d.18/1/1920) from Lurgankeel, at Bridge-a-crin on the 20/8/1888. Her father was noted as being a publican while Arthur's father, Patrick McShane, was a farmer. Catherine's place residence at the time of marriage was Lurgankeel and witnesses were Arthur O'Hare and Sarah J. Coburn. They had five children;- Alice (Cissy) McShane, Patrick McShane(2) (b.20/10/89), John McShane (b.13/1/1893), *Mary Rose McShane (b.17/4/1896, d.19/7/1985), Bridget McShane (born c.1900).
