*Joseph (born c.1849, died 20/3/1894) (Parents Cornelius (Neal) Coburn and Catherine Murphy) married Bridget Muckian (born c.1855), from Kockiagh?, in Kilcurry on the 3/1/1880. Joseph's occupation at the time was a farmer and his father a mason. Bridget's mother was called Brigid, and her father, Owen Muckian, was a farmer. Joseph's place residence at the time of marriage was given as Dungooly. Witnesses were Neal Coburn(4) and Elizabeth Murphy. They had seven children;- Catherine Coburn(4) (born 31/8/1881), Cornelius Coburn(1) (born 3/7/1882, died 23/2/1968), James Coburn(5) (born 13/9/1884, died 14/3/1964), Mary Ellen Coburn(3) (born 17/4/1886), Patrick Coburn (born 27/2/1888, died 2/7/1974), Margaret Coburn(4) (born 31/5/1890), Brigid Coburn(1) (born 1/11/1892, died 16/10/1976), *Joseph is buried in Castletown graveyard, Dundalk.
