Michael Coburn (Parents Cornelius (Neal) Coburn and Catherine Murphy) married Theresa Flynn, from Dungooly Farm, at Kilgarius?, on the 23/2/1884. Michael's occupation at the time was a farmer as was his deceased father. Theresa's father, Edward Flynn, deceased, was a farmer. Michael's place residence at the time of marriage was given as Dungooly. Witnesses were Hugh Coburn and Kate Coburn. They had five children;- Catherine Coburn(3) (born 22/2/1885), Elizabeth "Lillie" Coburn(2) (born 9/2/1887), Neal Coburn(3) (born 29/8/1888, d.1890), Mary "Minnie" Coburn(4) (born 6/1/1891), James Coburn(3) (born 12/2/1893). In 1901 The family was living at the Post Office in Balriggan. Theresa was the postmistress and husband Michael must have been working away!
