Rose Anne Coburn (born 28/1/1861, Lurgankeel, Co.Louth) (God parents Michael Kelly(2) and Judith Coburn) (Parents John Coburn and Rose Lennon) married John McDonald, a mason from Lurgankeel, in Kilcurry on the 11/8/1887. Her father was noted as being a mason while John's father, James McDonald, also was mason. Rose Anne's place residence at the time of marriage was Lurgankeel and witnesses were Hugh Treanor(1) and Kate Coburn. John died in Liverpool before the birth of his first child. This child therefore had what they call "The cure" or the ability to heal by placing on hands. They only had the one child;- Mary (Molly) Anne McDonald (born 7/9/1888) married James Cecil Galbraith.
