Therese (Terry) Martin (Parents John Martin(1) and Rose Coburn) married David Buegg on the 29/1/1973. They had one child;- Helga Buegg (born 7/10/1974) On the 18th. of February 1962 at the Capitol Theatre, Dublin, Terry won the Sunday Independant newspaper competition to find the best ballad singer in Ireland. It was the first outside broadcast by Telefis Eireann. The song she sang was "Johnny Grey" which was released as a single with the "B" side being a song by Anna McGoldrick. Another single was later released entitled "The Mountains Of Cooley". This song was written specially for her by Eilish Boland. |
